3-axis CNC milling is the backbone of most production machining work. With simultaneous movement along X, Y, and Z axes, our machines produce prismatic components, pockets, bores, contoured surfaces, and flat-faced geometries with consistent repeatability across batches of any size.
Engineers typically choose 3-axis for parts with features accessible from a single side — brackets, plates, enclosures, jigs, flanges, and housings. Paired with fixture design and DFM review, 3-axis is often the most cost-effective path for straightforward geometries requiring tight tolerances.

5-axis simultaneous machining adds two rotational axes (A and B or C) to the three linear axes, allowing the cutting tool to approach a workpiece from virtually any direction. Complex surfaces, compound angles, undercuts, and multi-face features are completed in a single setup — eliminating re-fixturing errors and dramatically reducing lead time.
This is the preferred process for aerospace structural components, turbine blades, impellers, medical implants, and any part where geometry complexity or critical datums cannot tolerate accumulated fixture error.

Design for Manufacturability analysis on every file before quoting. We flag thin walls, tight radius, and deep bore L/D ratios — before tooling is set, saving revision time and cost.
We routinely hold ±0.01mm on 3-axis and ±0.005mm on 5-axis work. CMM inspection and first-article reports available on request for regulated or safety-critical applications.
5-axis capability means parts that previously needed 4–6 manual repositions can be done in one. Fewer setups = fewer datum errors, faster throughput, and better geometric consistency.
In-process measurement using precision metrology. CMM verification, surface roughness testing, and full dimensional reports. Traceability documentation available for AS9100 and ISO 13485 supply chains.

Parts are supplied machined-and-deburred by default. A full range of surface treatments is available in-house or through our qualified NZ supplier network — specify at quote stage and we'll coordinate and deliver finished parts.
Reference data for engineers quoting parts. Tolerances listed are routinely achievable under standard production conditions — tighter specs are possible on application depending on geometry, material, and batch size.
All critical dimensions are verified in-process using precision metrology. First-article inspection reports, CMM data, and material certifications are available on request for regulated and safety-critical supply chains.
